The Pre-K classes begin their hibernation and animal adaptations unit with a visit from Roaring Brook Nature Center from Canton, CT.
The presenters showed the students different types of animal foot prints, coverings (ex. fur or feathers), and homes. The students experienced an interactive session to learn all these new things!
Most importantly, Lola the rabbit wanted to play! Students had the change to pet Lola and see how she hops around and see where she lives in the winter. Fun and learning had by all!
We can't wait for Lola to come back!
